Trips to foreign destinations require planning from a health perspective and this needs to be done well in advance of departure date, ideally, the minimum is 8 weeks prior to travel. However longer gives more time to ensure you receive the best advice and protection for your trip.
Please complete the travel risk assessment form and hand back to reception, a separate form is required for each family member.
The practice nurse will then contact you to discuss further and book appointments
Please be aware that not all vaccinations and prophylaxis such as malaria are available on the NHS and there may be charges for these, see our price list for your information.
If a vaccination is required that is chargeable you will be expected to pay the amount in full beforehand. Once payment is received the vaccine will be ordered for you and an appointment made for administering.
Non-registered patients: please note you will be charged for all vaccinations administered.
Please find a list of some travel websites that may be useful prior to your appointment and trip:
We look forward to seeing you and helping you to travel safely.
